How do motorcycles do in the winter?

I live in Michigan, not sure how many people know what that entails, but it could be dry and nice one day, rainy snow on the others. Basically I guess I just need to know how a motorcycle would do with rain or snow.
If a bike was my main transport, would I have to get something else to get me through the winter?

What motorcycles has Honda manufactured through the years in Ohio?

I just read about Honda closing down the motorcycle assembly plant in Ohio. I am looking for a different used bike to buy for spring, and the themes kind of blended. Which models did Honda assemble there, especially in the 15 years? I know currently the VTX1800/1300 and Goldwing. Thanks.

Since gas prices are so high, do you think more people will consider riding motorcycles?

A motorcycle use to be my main form of transportation for 10 years until I was pressured by others to get a car. I’ve noticed that 4 of my neighbors are leaving their cars at home and riding their motorcycles to work.

Tax break for business when employees ride motorcycles/scooters instead of cars?

I heard somewhere that there was some type of tax break for businesses when a certain amount or percentage of their employees ride motorcycles/scooters to work.

I don’t know any details and can’t remember where I heard it. Could this be true? Anyone heard of this?
