Kathryn asked:
I am interested in getting a bike to drive to and from work, around town and the like. I currently have a mustang and the gas costs are crazy. I have never driven a bike before, and I don’t need anything flashy. But I don’t know anything about buying a motorcycle. I know quite a bit about cars but this seems significantly different. Also, how would I get my license? I live in Ohio.

spinned asked:
Often Motorcycles are stuck in traffic just like the rest of the cars and trucks are. In California, motorcycles are allowed to split the traffic lanes and drive between cars that are slowed because of traffic. Should motorcycles be allowed to do this in all states?

askguys asked: I come from a country where motorcycles are more popular than cars. So, I had been riding motorcycles all my life.
Here in US, I have no idea about how to get licence of motorcycle and how much does it cost? Can I get a decent motorcycle for under $5000? Where can I research to find about prices etc? I am looking to buy a bike to commute to work ( 2 miles each way).
Thanks

Michael H asked:
Are more motorcycles being sold now?
A motorcycle use to be my main form of transportation for 10 years until I was pressured by others to get a car. I’ve noticed that 4 of my neighbors are leaving their cars at home and riding their motorcycles to work.

louse76 asked: I heard somewhere that there was some type of tax break for businesses when a certain amount or percentage of their employees ride motorcycles/scooters to work.
I don’t know any details and can’t remember where I heard it. Could this be true? Anyone heard of this?

Brianman3 asked: Assume that each vehicle only carries one person, and they each travel the same number of miles. Say, 1000 miles.
I heard that motorcycles use 2-cycle engines, which causes for worse pollution, but considering motorcycles’ better gas mileage, my guess is that motorcycles would still be better than cars. Does anyone know for sure?
Apperently I’d heard wrong that motorcycles have 2 cycle engines. But I’ve yet to get a real answer to the question.
If a motorcycle and a car each travel 1000 miles, which is going to pollute more, why, and by how much?

I saw 100 motorcycles on the road and one of them go out at an intersection and stopped the traffic for them to go bye. Is that legal?

Ismaily Rules asked:
I don’t know how to do both, so if I go to a school to learn how to drive cars will it help ?
There are only schools that teach how to drive cars in my town , but there are no schools for riding motorcycles , It seems it is too easy for the rest of the people so there are no schools for it.
Or is it totally irrelevant and unrelatd and won’t help me to learn how to ride ?
Ofcourse I will learn on a manually shifted car not an automatic one.
Obviously I can’t afford to buy a car, I wouldn’t be doing this if I had the money.

Spencer S asked:
it doesn’t make any sense to me, if cars aren’t allowed to drive without mufflers than why are motorcycles allowed to be even louder? i mean, its illegal for cars because its a law, and noise pollution. But motorcycles are even louder! why is this allowed?
I live in New York state if that help at all
